OPTONS FOR SUCCESS

Lincoln Child Center offers mental health counseling at public schools for children in grades K-8 who demonstrate disruptive or other behaviors that put them at high risk for dismissal from class or suspension from school. Children receive a wide array of services, including, but not limited to, individual, group and family counseling, in-class behavioral and academic support, assistance in obtaining community-based services and crisis intervention. Services are provided at the school site and during school hours, although family meetings may take place at Lincoln’s offices or in the family’s home at a time agreed upon by the staff and family. A Summer Day Camp Program takes place each July for the children receiving these services.

Lincoln currently provides mental health services at the following elementary and middle schools in Contra Costa County, pursuant to annual contracts:

Hillview Middle
Stoneman Elementary
Heights Elementary
Foothill Elementary

Alternative Learning Community
Opportunity Schools Program
